Guardian Industries to invest 60 million euros in its Tudela and Llodio Plants

US glass multinational, Guardian, is set to invest 60 million euros in the Spanish market this year. Half the amount has been devoted to setting up a new production line in its Tudela (Navarre) factory, which has meant the creation of 50 jobs. The other 30 million euros will be invested in expanding its Llodio (Avala) plant.

In Tudela the company is going to produce a new type of glass for the construction sector that improves the energy efficiency of buildings by allowing light to pass while reducing heat. Navarre has made a contribution of three million euros towards the new production line.
