The IDEA Agency is the coordination centre for incentives and aid for the creation of companies and innovation promoted by the Junta de Andalucía (Regional Government). It is the only entity that is involved in speeding up the handling of applications for the incentives. These incentives can reach up to a maximum of 60% of the total subsidisable amount.
The application for subsidies or incentives is carried out by means of telematics or data transmission (www.juntadeandalucia.es/innovacioncienciayempresa), or in person. The aim is to provide personalised service and guidance to companies regarding the most appropriate types of subsidy or incentives for their project, as well as answering technical and financial questions in this respect.
The maximum time frame for sorting through applications and notifying the resolution of the process is two months. In the event of aid being granted and once the investment and/or expense has been made and documentary proof of payment has been presented to IDEA, the payment of the aid or incentive will be carried out in a maximum period of 3 months.
