Piaggio to Open New Unit in Spain

The board of directors of Italy-based scooter and motorcycle maker Piaggio & C SpA has given approval for the launch of a Spanish branch named Piaggio & C SpA Sucursal in Spain, Piaggio said.

The branch, to be based in Barcelona, will conduct research and development and will provide technical assistance and logistics. The move is part of Piaggio's plan for the industrial and commercial reorganisation on the Spanish market.
