T-Systems appoints José Manuel Desco to the post of Managing Director for Spain and Portugal

The services subsidiary for the German multinational Deutsche Telekom, T-Systems, has appointed José Manuel Desco as its new Managing Director for Spain and Portugal in place of Antonio Turmo, who is to retire after more than 30 years in the sector.

The new manager of T-Systems Iberia joined the company in 2009 as Director of Systems Integration and led "important" projects for numerous customers. He was later appointed Commercial Managing Director at the beginning of 2011.
