What is AFORIX?

The Deputy Directorate of Foreign Investments developed AFORIX as a program to provide assistance in the completion of the various forms used for declaring investments, which must be presented to the Registrar of Investments of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce according to the requirements and deadlines established by law. Currently, AFORIX facilitates this process by digitally generating the aforementioned forms.

With AFORIX you can save the information contained in the forms that you complete, create templates with the information that is repeated on various forms, and easily correct errors that are detected by the program’s built-in system, which checks to ensure the correct completion of the forms.

AFORIX generates the forms on standard size A-4 paper on both laser and inkjet printers, and prints both official copies to be handed in, as well as records for the applicant.

At this time, AFORIX only allows the printing of documents. Once printed, the forms must be sent to the registrar’s office according to the channels and methods established by law.

Currently, a model is being developed that will allow the transmission of the forms through the Internet using electronic certificates.
