Spain has been the best distributor for SsangYong over the last three years.

SsangYong is a South Korean car manufacturer. The company was created in 1954 when it took over the company Hadongwahn Motor to become the largest vehicle manufacturer in the country.

In July 2008 SsangYong Motor set up its European headquarters in Spain. SsangYong Motor Company’s offices located in the center of Madrid receive first hand information on the tastes and trends of the European market and enable close collaboration with its European distributors making their work a lot easier.

Spain has been the best distributor for SsangYong over the last three years, and not only because of sales, which have skyrocketed to 12,000 units in 2007, but also because of the quality management.

SsangYong Motor has two production plants. One in Pyungtaek, which houses the head office, research and development center, and where production lines have capacity for more than 210,000 units annually. The other plant, located in Changwon, specializes in the production of engines and gearboxes.
