Spain-Brazil Fintech Forum

Online 11/23/2021 - 11/24/2021

ICEX–Invest in Spain and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Sao Paulo, in collaboration with Endeavor Spain, are organizing the first Spain-Brazil Fintech Forum that will take place virtually on 23 and 24 November.

Why participate?

Spain and Brazil are leaders in fintech and insurtech, with a growing number of startups, corporations and investment funds operating in these economic sectors. According to Startup Genome, Madrid is the fifth largest fintech ecosystem in Europe, while Sao Paulo is the most important in Latin America.

The objective of the Forum is to bring companies and investors from both countries closer together so that they can explore actions together, with a special emphasis on facilitating investment by Brazilian players in the Spanish ecosystem. Currently, both financial institutions and insurance companies, investment funds and numerous Brazilian companies have already shown their interest in participating.

What does ICEX-Invest in Spain offer to startups?

The forum will be entirely online and will be focused on networking activity with meeting agendas between selected Spanish companies and Brazilian investors, which will be facilitated through our platform.

Likewise, there will be a debate on the opportunities of the entrepreneurial ecosystems of Brazil and Spain, in which the Brazilian participation will be represented by Geraldo Rodrigues, head of Digital Business at Santander Brazil; Sergio Furió, founder of Creditas, and, on the Spanish side, Fran Estevan, CEO of Insomnia, and Lupina Iturriaga, founder of Fintonic.

Who is it for?

We are looking for Spanish companies from the fintech and insurtech sector with an interest in the Brazilian market.
