Omron opens an innovation laboratory in Madrid

Four specialized engineers are already at work in this concept test center for clients

Omron, the manufacturer of components, equipment and systems for industrial automation, has opened a new innovation laboratory in Madrid. According to reports published by several media who attended the inauguration, this center forms part of a worldwide network of laboratories to be used by the Japanese multinational to showcase the advantages of its highly automated production systems to its customers.

The company offers customized and flexible manufacturing solutions for a range of sectors such as food and beverages, health, packaging, automation and other industries, with the aim of facilitating concept testing for its clients.

Skilled jobs
So far, Omron has invested over six million euros in its worldwide network of laboratories. Four engineers specializing in this type of solutions are now at work in the laboratory in Madrid.

José Antonio Cabello, general manager of Omron Electronics Iberia, said of the inauguration on his LinkedIn account: “Our automation solutions can also be seen in practice through the new Innovation Lab. This is certain to help us make our clients better”.

José Baena, regional marketing manager, also published a comment on this social network: “After the exciting launch of Omron's new Innovation Lab in Madrid in the presence of the media, it is now officially open so our customers can test our solutions for innovation in automation”.
