New Spanish destination for Sycomp international expansion

US information technology company expands storage capacity.
Information technology (IT) solutions provider Sycomp has taken a major step in its global expansion process with the opening of seven new subsidiaries in Spain, Germany, Iceland, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Uruguay. In order to support customers worldwide, the US company has also increased its storage capacity in the US and Asia by more than 50%.
With the expansion of operations to these seven new countries, the California-based IT company now operates in 54 countries and has implemented global IT projects in more than 150 countries, working with multinational organisations, technology providers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Strategic support worldwide
Company CEO Michael Symons explained that in the last five years Sycomp "has more than doubled its operations and opened new locations to strategically support our customers and partners all over the world". Its ongoing expansion efforts, he added, "enable us to offer our customers global IT solutions while helping them deal with the complexities of foreign exchange management and IT supply chain logistics.
Having celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024, Sycomp has expanded its business organically, going from being a regional IT distributor to a leading global IT solutions provider. The company has invested in its global expansion and also in developing its services, with new offerings in artificial intelligence (AI), software and custom development. Its efforts are also focused on building services for infrastructure and endpoint life cycle management, with ongoing investments in its eight integration centres (ICs).
The company's customers include government organisations and businesses of all sizes, offering solutions that help them reduce costs, improve profitability and build a competitive advantage.
