ICEX-Invest in Spain and the Center for the Governance of Change at IE University will present the Sovereign Wealth Funds Report 2024 on 26 November at 12:30 pm. at the ICEX headquarters in Madrid.

The presentation, which will be attended by the Secretary of State for Trade, Amparo López Senovilla, will analyse the strategies and influence of SWFs globally and in Spain, as well as the impact of foreign financial capital on the Spanish economy.

The Annual Report on Sovereign Wealth Funds analyses the activity, influence and changing investment trends of these funds. The report details SWF investments with a focus on strategic sectors. It also examines SWF activity in Spain, highlighting key sectors such as tourism and renewable energy infrastructure.

Following the presentation of the report, a panel of experts from different sectors will reflect on the importance of international financial capital in the growth of Spanish companies, the challenges they face and the opportunities for the future.
