CM.com relocates for growth in Madrid and Barcelona

It has launched three new business lines in 2022 and its workforce has doubled in the past two years
The Dutch company CM.com, which specialises in conversational commerce, has opened new offices in Madrid and Barcelona with the aim of boosting its business in Spain. It does so after having doubled its workforce in the past two years. This year alone, it has launched three new business lines in Spain: payments, ticketing and conversational commerce.
The Madrid office, located at Paseo de la Castellana 79, will house a development hub that will specialise primarily in the payments and WhatsApp business lines, as well as having a commercial support structure. The new Barcelona headquarters in Plaza de Catalunya will house the company’s technical service, sales and account management, legal and expansion and marketing teams.
Innovative solutions
By the end of this financial year, CM.com expects to double its turnover in Spain compared to 2021, and in 2023 it wants to continue growing by double digits. Its role in the digitisation of processes focuses on creating innovative solutions that enable its marketing, sales and customer service departments to optimise communication with their users across all channels, from WhatsApp and SMS to voice and the internet.
CM.com's strategy has been based on verticalisation in Spain, so that its customers can optimise their processes and improve their end user experience via all communication channels, including the use of scripted chatbots and artificial intelligence developments that allow them to provide an immediate response and availability every day without interruption.
As the Country Manager of CM.com in Spain, Pablo de Mier Prieto, explained, “Spain is one of the most important markets for the company worldwide given its growth possibilities”. He also added, “The fact that we are a European company, from the Netherlands, with our own infrastructure in Europe, is boosting our business tremendously, because there is a greater awareness on the part of companies about where and how their data is hosted and how their communications are carried out.”
