SII Group joins forces with Airtificial to strengthen Airbus service

Engineering services have traditionally been a strategic line of business for Airtificial

SII Group has signed an agreement with Airtificial to partner in providing manufacturing engineering services to Airbus. According to the French group, the two companies share the same DNA, growth dynamics and complementary vision as tier 2 suppliers of the European aviation consortium. The agreement will see them pool their capabilities and service offering with a view to meeting SII's goals in terms of its diversification strategy for manufacturing engineering, and responding to Airbus' needs.

Airtificial has thereby become a long term strategic service provider for SII Group, focused on process improvement, plant optimisation, production control and planning, work order preparation and lean assessment (streamlining of operations). Engineering services have traditionally been a strategic line of business for Airtificial's aerospace division.

An agile, committed mindset
SII group delivers high-value engineering solutions to all Airbus' divisions and affiliates. Laetitia Bouteiller, Airbus Global Account Manager at SII Group, said, “We are ready to turn on our pragmatic transnational development plan with all Airbus’ divisions and countries, and thus continue to support Airbus in its upcoming challenges. While always valuing our agile and committed mindset, we undertake to reinforce and ensure sustainable efficiency and performance. Thank you Airbus for your continued trust in SII Teams, and all our congratulations to the SII teams involved in Airbus' activities.”

Airtificial’s Managing Director, Enrique Sanz, explained, “We have been providing Airbus, especially its military division, with high added-value services for more than twenty years, and now we are ready to grow and extend our capabilities to other divisions and locations together with SII, a well-known actor in this field and with capabilities that complement ours.”

Airtificial Aerospace & Defence CEO María del Rosario López also pointed out that, “An agreement with a strong and recognized company like SII means the confirmation of the strategic plan drawn up by the company several months ago: to export our know-how to new activities, markets and locations.”
