Andino Arrives in Spain as Part of Diversification and International Growth Strategy

It has set up a subsidiary in Spain as a base for its internationalisation
The Peruvian company Andino, which specialises in port and airport logistics and infrastructure, has begun its expansion in Europe with the creation of Andino Inversiones Global in Spain. The company has undertaken this process with its majority shareholder, Andino Global, as explained on its LinkedIn page.
Sustainability is the strategic focus of Andino Global's activities, from an environmental, social and governance point of view. With fifty years of experience in the market the company has now applied for admission to the Paris Stock Exchange, to be listed on Euronext Access+ in order to diversify its income streams.
Security and quality of service
Carlos Vargas Loret de Mola, CEO of Andino Investment Holding, explained, "The aim is to diversify sources of income while maintaining the same level of security and quality of service that has characterised Andino for more than 50 years."
Referring to the presentation of his credentials on Euronext, in another post on the same social network, Vargas added, "Our plan to internationalise the company includes the search for new horizons and markets in which to develop our four lines of business."
Business lines
Andino's Airport Infrastructure and Services division is involved in the operation, design, construction, improvement, maintenance and operation of airports. It also provides aircraft ground support, cargo storage terminal and fixed base operator services, among others.
The company offers integrated solutions in the logistics sector, in air, sea, river and port sectors, ranging from customs agency services, international freight forwarding, warehousing and cargo distribution to highly complex logistics services. It also provides shipping agency services, ship representation, terminal operations, stevedoring, pilotage and towage.
Andino's third line of business is the development of logistics real estate projects, from the construction, purchase, sale and rental of properties to their management. Finally, in synergy with its logistics activities, Andino offers financial services to companies in the foreign trade sector, mainly to assist its clients with import and export procedures, the issue of warrants and certificates of deposit, factoring and leasing.
