Globant grows in Spain with innovation, artificial intelligence centre

It announces a 250-million-euro expansion plan in Spain until 2030.
The Argentinian technology and creative services company Globant has taken advantage of the opening of its new headquarters in Madrid to announce a 250-million-euro investment plan in Spain. The country, which has become a key market for its business, already represents 17% of the company's global turnover and has been the fastest growing in the first part of the year.
The investment plan, which will run from 2025 to 2030, envisages strengthening the company's expansion in Spain and implementing best practices in technology and AI by relying on local talent. It will handle projects for its customers across Europe from its new headquarters, which will operate as a centre for innovation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
New headquarters
Globant's new headquarters in Spain, with 4,000 square metres, is significantly larger than the previous one. In its role as a hub for innovation, AI, business and collaboration, it will be open to customers to experience first-hand some of the specific applications developed by the company, including technologies such as virtual and augmented reality.
Globant has been incorporating artificial intelligence throughout its organisation for over ten years. Since it arrived in Spain, it has created more than 1,000jobs between its offices in Madrid, Malaga, Barcelona and Logroño. Its projects cover areas such as technology, user experience and innovation, and reach industries such as banking and financial services, pharma and healthcare, tourism, airlines and sportech.
