Nutanix strengthens Spanish presence with new offices and increased staff numbers

With 2,000 square metres and space for 130 employees, this has meant an “investment of millions”
Software and cloud services multinational Nutanix has strengthened its presence in Spain with new offices in Barcelona, in which it has made an “investment of millions”. The premises, which it has already moved to, cover an area of 2,000 square metres and can accommodate a total of 130 employees.
The announcement comes after the close of a year in which the US company's business has experienced steady growth in Spain. In fact, the relocation of its Barcelona office responds to this growth, which is associated with an increase in staff. The number of employees in Spain grew by 41% between August and October alone.
Commitment to digital transformation
Nutanix's Managing Director for Spain and Portugal, Jorge Vázquez, said, “Without a doubt, our country is a good example of what can be achieved by making a smart and sustainable commitment to digital transformation. Companies trust Nutanix, because it is synonymous with simplicity and savings, and this has allowed us to increase our customer base in medium-sized companies and reach more Ibex 35 companies.”
Nutanix solutions for public institutions and private companies are contributing to their digital transformation and innovation. These are at the same time allowing them to monitor other associated parameters, such as the carbon footprint of the data centres that serve them. The company's customers in Spain grew by 9% between August and October 2023, the first quarter of its fiscal year, and the number of partners increased by 33%.
European Centre of Excellence
Nutanix also has an office in Madrid, and in 2022 it opened its European Centre of Excellence in Barcelona to serve customers and partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Located in the Mapfre Tower, opposite the city's Olympic Port, the hub is equipped with the latest technology.
From its Centre of Excellence in the Catalan capital, the company is driving its commercial development in the EMEA region, offering support to its partners to develop new solutions and monitoring its range of offerings to try to align these with the needs of its customers.
