Winterhalter strengthens Spain presence with new Malaga headquarters
The building marks a new stage in the German company’s commitment to the Andalusian city.
Dishwasher manufacturer Winterhalter has celebrated the official opening of its new Iberian subsidiary’s headquarters in Malaga. With this project, the German company wanted to reinforce its commitment to technological innovation and local talent. This triggers a new phase for a subsidiary that its CEO, Gabriel Almansa, started 23 years ago.
The company’s global CEO Ralph Winterhalter attended the event, which he described as “the beginning of a new chapter”, and said, “We don’t make decisions for the next quarter, but for the next generations”. In addition to housing the offices of the Iberian headquarters, the new building is, in his words, “a commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability – pillars that will allow us to continue to be the benchmark for commercial warewashing in Spain and Portugal”.
Warehouse and technical service
The new Malaga headquarters building includes a warehouse that not only serves the brand’s distribution network of commercial dishwashers and commercial warewashing equipment. It also houses a large stock of spare parts to guarantee the supply to its official technical service.
Founded in 1947, the company has its own sales team and in-house technical service, having several major establishment among its clients, including some distinguished with Michelin stars. Following the phrase used within the company that “success is the result of teamwork”, Ralph Winterhalter added, “Malaga is the best example”.
