Through this first mapping of the ecosystem of technologies and innovations in the Spanish agricultural sector, the aim has been to map the existing innovation ecosystem, highlighting its strengths, and trying to attract new innovative projects as a lever for the necessary transformation of Spanish agriculture and livestock towards a more resilient, sustainable, digitised and technologically advanced future model. This report undertakes the challenge of describing a sector that lacks a strict definition as it is rapidly expanding. However, the result provides a quality assurance with respect to knowledge of the ecosystem in Spain and their current business. It includes a detailed description of the current agritech ecosystem and its main key players along with a full diagnosis of technological demand and supply in the Spanish market.
