ICEX-Invest in Spain will participate in the activities of the Spanish pavilion and will offer Spanish companies its services to put them in contact with international investors.

ICEX and Red.es will support up to 30 Spanish companies in the connectivity sectors (cybersecurity, cloud computing, mobile authentication, 5G and applications, blockchain, IoT, mobile infrastructure and Wi-Fi technology), digital health (digital records of patients, Artificial Intelligence and analytics applied to health, diagnosis, monitoring, etc.), industry X (robotics, automation, remote control monitoring, 3D printing, industrial IoT) and fintech - companies with solutions or services that respond to the challenges of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. The startups will have visibility services and institutional support from ICEX and Red.es, as well as networking sessions with different actors from the international ecosystem.

4YFN is the leading event for emerging companies organized by Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWC). It is focused on startup businesses, offering them unique connection possibilities and allowing entrepreneurs, investors, companies and public institutions to interact and create new joint businesses. Exhibiting emerging companies have a physical space to display their projects to a potential audience of 20,000 attendees and have the possibility of enhancing their knowledge, networks and business opportunities. In this edition, 4YFN will in addition take place in the same venue as MWC, so the potential audience for startups will be expanded.

In just seven years, 4YFN has established itself as one of the benchmark events for the digital economy sectors. It is an outstanding environment in which companies can increase their contacts with the main ecosystem stakeholders (investors, corporations, the media), expand their knowledge of the sector and participate in networking activities, workshops on technical skills, presentations and open innovation programmes. In the last edition held, in2019, the event received more than 23,000 attendees from 147 countries. 760 exhibitors were represented in its 18,000 m2 of exhibition space. It was in addition visited by more than 400 international journalists and 950 investors.
