The XI Edition of the International Economic Forum ‘Spain Investors Day’ will bring together in Madrid, in person and virtually, more than 200 international investors and 46 listed companies, on 13 and 14 January.

The meeting will gather international investors with Spanish listed companies and prominent members of the economic team of the Government of Spain and the regulatory and supervisory bodies of the market.

ICEX-Invest in Spain has been an institutional partner of this forum since the first edition. The Secretary of State for Trade and President of ICEX, Xiana Margarida Méndez Bertolo, will participate in the closing of the event together with the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto Illera.

Spain Investors Day is a unique professional forum in Spain where large international investors can know the current situation of the main Spanish listed companies. SID brings together many IBEX-35 companies from the most important sectors of the Spanish economy, to make their reality known to the markets, dynamite foreign investments and, ultimately, to boost the economic activity of Spanish companies.

The SID has established itself as a forum for the Government to present its economic plans to investors and companies, to advance their results from the past financial year and their budgets for the new year to as many large international funds and investors as possible.

Because of the pandemic, the XI Edition of the SID will change its format to address the limitations imposed by the health situation and turn these limitations into opportunities to incorporate new modalities of meeting between listed companies and international and domestic investors. Events will be restricted and will take place in Cecilio Rodriguez Gardens in El Retiro with limited capacity in accordance with current legislation. Investors will be able to attend or witness interventions and hold one-on-one meetings telematically from their home countries.
