Spain, gateway for DataXstream expansion in Europe, Middle East and Africa

It has opened a Barcelona office to manage growth in new markets.

The US company DataXstream, which specialises in the development and implementation of SAP enterprise solutions, has decided to expand its business to the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). As a first step, it has opened its first office on the other side of the Atlantic in Barcelona, from where it will manage its growth in its new market.

The new team based in the Catalan capital will be led by Jean-Jérôme Peytavi, who the US company highlights as an experienced executive. DataXstream CEO Tim Yates said, "JJ's proven track record of developing strategies and solutions that meet complex customer needs, as well as his diverse background and effective leadership in a variety of industries, make him the ideal person to take DataXstream to the next level," adding, "The opening of the EMEA office is an exciting milestone for the company, and I am delighted that JJ will be leading this effort."

Critical support
The Peytavi team will provide critical sales and order management support to SAP customers in Europe. DataXstream's arrival in Barcelona responds to the growing global demand for more efficient and agile order management solutions, especially in SAP environments. According to the company, customers around the world are looking for seamless shopping experiences across multiple sales channels.

Today's B2B companies need to be prepared to sell through numerous sales channels, while deploying multiple solutions to manage industry needs, such as customer-specific pricing, shipping options, credit card capabilities, rental capabilities, share of wallet and more, all of which must be integrated into their ERP system. The inefficiencies that many organisations experience in their sales processes lead to potential errors and delays at every touch point, frustrating both employees and customers, and can hinder future modernisation efforts.

Significant need
DataXstream EMEA's new president, JJ Peytavi, said, "There is a significant need for B2B organisations to invest in a more efficient and future-proof platform that can seamlessly integrate all of these disparate channels and provide real-time visibility in sales orders, product availability, customer information and more."

DataXstream's OMS+ multi-channel order management platform, added Peytavi, "solves this complexity by integrating all data, from all sales channels, into a single platform so that each channel delivers a consistent experience to the end customer. The opening of the EMEA office demonstrates our commitment to serving SAP customers in Europe who face these complex sales order management issues, and I'm excited to lead this effort.
