Epam Neoris chooses Spain for new European artificial intelligence hub

A company team of more than 150 experts will work on new solutions to accelerate value generation.

Consulting firm Epam Neoris has opened an artificial intelligence hub in Madrid, and from which it will make the potential of this technology available to different organisations via  a practical and responsible approach. Its goal is to become a European benchmark in AI applied to business by enabling companies to experiment with use cases and implement solutions that enable them to be more competitive, agile and innovative.

The company, based in Miami (Florida, USA), was created in November 2024 as a result of the acquisition of the Mexican company Neoris by the US company Epam Systems. The new Madrid hub is called Neoris Artificial Intelligence Hub (NAIH), powered by Epam. Its implementation responds to the need for organisations to implement AI in a practical approach, aligned with regulatory standards and with a tangible business impact.

Four key pillars
The activities of the Epam Neoris hub are centred on four main pillars. The first of these is the co-creation of solutions, with a company team of more than 150 experts that will create, together with customers, partners, startups and other organisations, new solutions that accelerate the generation of value through the application of AI.

The second pillar is the identification of real use cases. In this case, opportunities will be sought for the application of AI where it can have a direct impact on operational efficiency, cost reduction and ROI generation. It will focus on key industries such as financial services, production and manufacturing, retail and telecommunications.

Strategic accompaniment
The third pillar of the hub is strategic accompaniment for responsible AI. Its goal is to ensure that AI projects are aligned with each client's business goals and that they comply with national and international regulatory standards. The hub will in fact address the regulatory framework around AI to ensure that the solutions developed comply with current regulations and digital ethics policies.

Finally, insights will be generated, as a fourth pillar, and consisting of analyses of trends, risks and opportunities. They are intended to help organisations anticipate the impact of AI on their industry and make informed decisions.

As Neoris EMEA president Luis Alvarez points out, "Artificial intelligence is not here to replace us, but to change the world as we know it today. The creation of this space reinforces our commitment to technological progress and the development of new solutions that bring real value to organisations, ensuring regulatory compliance and maximising their positive impact on society."
