Premier Tech opens logistics centre next to future Tarragona factory
It has strengthened its presence in Spain by providing speed, agility and adaptation to its customers' needs.
Canadian wastewater management and treatment company Premier Tech has inaugurated its new logistics centre in Amposta (Tarragona). The company describes this as a decisive step, marking ‘a before and after’ in the country and enabling it to offer faster delivery, more agile management and a level of service ‘that is even better adapted to the needs of our customers’.
The new logistics centre is located in an area of high strategic value and is in fact located next to the plot of land where the company plans to build a new factory. Located close to major transport routes and markets, it is expected to significantly strengthen its coverage capacity throughout Spain, with greater efficiency and competitiveness.
Expansion plans
In 2023, the company purchased a 40,000-square-metre plot of land in the town of Tarragona, with the aim of building a factory that could support its operations locally. In March 2024, the acquisition of Aquatreat, based in Ripollet (Barcelona), not only reinforced its expansion plans in Europe, but also strengthened its presence in northern Spain in particular.
Premier Tech offers solutions in Spain for rainwater harvesting, liquid storage, wastewater management and treatment, portable toilets, waste management, and technical and maintenance services. Founded in 1995 in Quebec, it has a presence in 12 countries and operates on five continents.
