Foundever strengthens strategic Spanish commitment
The Franco-American company is investing $225 million in Spain and now has more than 3,000 employees.
Foundever, a specialist in next-generation customer experience services, has taken a major step forward in its strategic commitment to Spain, and involving a $225 million injection from its majority shareholders and the creation of a new financing facility. This financial transaction reinforces the Spanish market’s position as one of the company’s most important strategic hubs in Europe.
The company, which originated in France and is headquartered in Miami (Florida, United States), recently opened a high-performance multilingual hub in Málaga that has so far created 70jobs. Foundever now has more than 3,000 employees across its centres in the Community of Madrid, Catalonia and Andalusia.
Heart of technological innovation
The opening of the hub in Málaga, together with the launch of an artificial intelligence laboratory in Barcelona a year ago, also places our country at the heart of Foundever’s technological innovation. The Catalan AI Lab, a global innovation centre where experts from around the world develop and test disruptive solutions, has received the Crece Award from the Spanish Association of Customer Relations Experts (AEERC). This recognises investment and contribution to the growth of Spain’s customer service sector.
In this new phase, Foundever plans to devote greater resources to developing agentic AI, omnichannel and advanced analytics solutions. By combining the efficiency of AI and automation with the personal touch and emotional intelligence of human talent, the company aims to transform customer service into a growth driver for its clients.
Investing in talent
The new capital injection forms part of a comprehensive recapitalisation of the company, a strategic move that has enabled it to reduce its total debt by nearly $900 million. As a result, its financial position has been significantly strengthened, enabling it to drive long-term growth and accelerate its global roadmap.
Foundever’s Vice-President of Operations and Country Leader of Foundever in Spain, Gema Marín, explained, “This global recapitalisation is excellent news, giving us the stability and financial strength we need to lead the transformation of our industry. In Spain, this gives us even greater scope to continue investing in talent and the latest technology.” She added, “Our AI Lab in Barcelona and the new multilingual hub in Málaga clearly demonstrate how Foundever’s global strategy is taking shape in Spain, creating high-quality jobs and equipping our clients with the tools they need to deliver on their brand promises at the moments that matter most.”
