It has raised €4.2 million in a seed funding round to expand its operations across Europe.

Austrian company Health Force, which specialises in artificial intelligence for the healthcare sector, has moved its headquarters to Spain to embark on its next phase of growth. This comes after raising €4.2 million in a seed funding round led by Dutch venture capital fund Lumo Labs, with participation from Target Global, Calm/Storm, Next Tier Ventures and Step Venture.

From its new headquarters in Barcelona, Health Force aims to bring its AI agents to hospital operations across Europe. These agents join hospital teams as if they were new employees, receive their own access credentials and work within the systems already used by Health Force’s hospital clients, under the supervision of the hospital team, and with every action traceable.

Restoring medical staff operational capacity
The company arose in response to staff shortages in the healthcare sector, a problem that is driving up waiting lists. Its goal is to help eliminate repetitive daily tasks, restore operational capacity to medical staff and help make healthcare sustainable. AI agents successfully complete three out of every four cases without human intervention, clearing months-long backlogs in just weeks.

Currently, the company’s agents already handle operational tasks for more than 200,000 patient cases a year across Italy’s leading hospital groups. After closing its seed funding round, Health Force is preparing to expand its agents’ workflow and bring its solution to Spain, Germany and France.

Digital workforce
Juan Sebastián Suárez Valencia, the company’s co-founder, noted that "for far too long, technology has simply meant adding yet another tool to manage the workload". Now, he said with satisfaction, "we are building a different response. A digital workforce. AI agents that join a hospital team as new hires".

The other co-founder, Fadi Haddad, pointed out that all this is achieved "without integrations. There is no new software. Just results: agents doing real work in the hospital". The new funding round, he explained, “gives us more workflows, new markets and powerful deployment capabilities, finally enabling us to deliver a solution to the healthcare institutions that urgently need it”.
