The chain considers the city one of the European capitals with the best potential for growth in the luxury sector

RLH Properties, a company listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange and the largest hotel group in Mexico by market capitalisation, has acquired the luxury hotel Bless Collection in Madrid. It forms part of the luxury establishments that RLH Properties offers in the Spanish capital, together with the iconic Rosewood Villa Magna.

Borja Escalada, CEO of RLH Properties, explained that this new acquisition "is one more very important step in our growth strategy in Europe and Spain, which began with the purchase of the Rosewood Villa Magna and which we have fully renovated. The Hotel Bless Madrid is an ideal addition to our portfolio of hotels and is also a splendid complement to our position in Spain. Together with the management team, we are convinced that we are going to make the Hotel Bless an iconic hotel capable of making a decisive contribution to luxury tourist facilities in Madrid and strengthening the city's status as a first-class international destination in this segment", he added.

RHL Propierties acquired the hotel from Aina Hospitality and a group of investors led by the Didra Group and its new ARD Investment and Development platform. Palladium Hotel Group, owned by the Matutes family, will continue to operate the hotel under the Bless Collection luxury brand. Jesús Sobrino, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group, said that the group is happy and proud that the new owner of the hotel "trusts us to continue operating the Hotel Bless Madrid. This hotel will continue to set the trend in Madrid with the special focus and careful execution that characterises us as an operator specialising in products and concepts that are decidedly different. We have no doubt that we will make a magnificent team with RLH and continue to be the most vibrant hotel in Madrid's luxury segment."

This 5-star hotel has 111 rooms, being located in the Salamanca district and is part of "The Leading Hotels of the World". It is currently closed to the public and is expected to reopen during the last quarter of 2021.
