It replaces the previous facility to drive future growth, improve operational efficiency and enhance customer service.

French industrial company ARaymond, which specialises in plastic and metal fastening, assembly and fluid-handling solutions for the mobility, renewable energy and agriculture sectors, has opened its new plant in Sallent (Barcelona), boasting 9,000 square metres of production space and a further 2,000 square metres for offices.

The company’s new premises replace its previous site in neighbouring Sant Fruitós de Bages and are housed in a building designed to drive its future growth, improve operational efficiency and strengthen customer service in the mobility, energy and agriculture sectors in Spain and Europe. The company has been operating in Spain since the early 1970s, with 54 years of industrial experience that have helped it forge ties with the Bages region.

Sustainability criteria
Located on a 47,500-square-metre site, the new plant will accommodate around 150 employees. The building has been designed with sustainability in mind and incorporates rainwater harvesting systems, enhanced insulation, energy recovery and heat reuse. It has also been designed in line with advanced industrial safety criteria and aims to achieve LEED certification.

Carel Lammers, managing director of ARaymond Tecniacero, emphasises that the new plant “demonstrates our long-term commitment to Bages and our confidence in the company’s future”, adding: “We are proud to celebrate this milestone alongside our employees, their families and the community that has supported us throughout this journey”.

Development, industrialisation, production
ARaymond’s plant in Spain covers the entire value chain, from the initial design and manufacturing stages to commercialisation. From its facilities in Sallent, the company supports its customers throughout product development, industrialisation and production.

Its catalogue includes a wide range of fastening solutions (plastic, metal, complex assemblies and fluid connectors) and 60% of its production is destined for export to European markets outside Spain. Its agility, responsiveness and technical expertise give it a key advantage in contributing to the launch and mass production of new vehicles.
