Zurich / Switzerland 11/02/2021 - 11/02/2021
Room RAA-G-01 of the RAA Building of the University of Zurich
Rämistrasse 59, 8001 Zurich
The Center for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CCRS) of the University of Zurich and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Bern organize the seminar 'Sustainable finance in Europe under a Swiss-Spanish perspective' that will take place on Tuesday, November 2 (9:00-11:30) at the University of Zurich.

Over the past couple of years, the ties between the economic ecosystems of Spain and Switzerland have become even stronger. This is particularly true in the area of finance, since in 2020 there have been various relevant investments in Spain by big Swiss financial companies, which will surely lead to additional investment flows between both countries over the coming years.

This conference aims to explore the synergies that could result from the growing economic ties of the two countries in addressing the need to make the European financial system more sustainable.

During the event, the Director General of the Treasury and Financial Policy of Spain, Pablo de Ramón-Laca Clausen, will deliver the keynote address ‘Sustainable finance in Spain’. Likewise, there will be other speakers of the Spanish and Swiss public administrations, as well as of SIX Group, F10 FinTech Incubator & Accelerator, Swiss Sustainable Finance, University of Toulouse / Harvard University, BBVA, Credit Suisse, Singularity Group and Inrate.
