This conference will provide information on the economic links between Spanish SMEs and subsidiaries of foreign multinational companies operating in our country, which have an impact on job creation and the competitiveness of our economy. The event will be attended by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, who will close the conference.

The event will be opened by the Projects Director of ICEX-Invest in Spain, Javier Yraola, and the President of Multinationals for the Spain Brand, Álvaro Álvarez. Diego Vizcaíno, managing partner of Applied Economics and member of the executive committee of Analistas Financieros Internacionales (Afi) will then present the conclusions of the study.

This will be followed by a debate between Eva Pérez, Senior Manager of Public Affairs at Amazon, and María Damas, Public Affairs Manager at Sage. The conversation will be moderated by the general director of Multinationals for the Spain Brand, Martín Pérez.

The event will conclude with speeches by Pablo López Henares, CEO of HSBC Spain, Continental Europe, and Reyes Maroto, Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
