During the event, our sectoral experts will hold meetings with potential foreign investors to inform them about Spain's opportunities as a destination for international filming and the Spain Audiovisual Bureau: a new centralised information point for companies in the sector, both for Spanish companies that want to internationalise their product, and for foreign companies that want to shoot, co-produce or set up in Spain.

SSIFF has a powerful industry-oriented market where multiple activities and forums are held, including 'Spanish Screenings: Financing & Tech', the second event of 'Spanish Screenings XXL. An international market for Spanish audiovisual production". This project is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) to strengthen Spain's role as an audiovisual hub in Europe and is promoted by the Ministry of Culture and Sport through the ICAA and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through ICEX.

The last edition of the San Sebastian Festival was attended by 1,625 industry accreditation holders and 1,097 companies from 60 countries.
