ICEX-Invest in Spain will be present at the Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT event, to be held in Toledo from June 26-29, 2023, under the brands Audiovisual From Spain and Shooting in Spain.

It will participate with an information stand from which it will provide information and disseminate promotional material on the audiovisual sector in Spain and, in addition, will publicize the Spain Audiovisual Bureau, a centralized information point for the internationalization of Spanish companies and for foreign companies interested in the Spanish market.

 

Within the framework of the event, Icex- Invest in Spain will participate in two of the Think Tank's round tables, presenting the strengths of the sector in Spain and the existing business climate for foreign investors. She will also moderate two round tables, one on women in the audiovisual sector and the other on start-ups related to the sector. Finally, there are two related activities, the organization of a roadshow of US and Canadian producers to visit filming studios in Spain and hold meetings with service companies in several cities. It also collaborates in a showcase to present new Spanish content. 

 

Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT is an international professional event focused on the creation, development, production, financing, broadcasting and marketing of television content, positioned within the top 10 international television markets of the audiovisual industry. It is also an arena for co-production, content exchange, talent and business investment opportunities. Since 2017, more than 3,000 professionals from 30 countries have attended.

 

This is the second occasion in which Conecta is held in Castilla-La Mancha, which offers a recording scenario with great potential, offering numerous natural and heritage spaces.

 

As a novelty, the protagonist countries in this seventh edition will be Mexico and Poland and there is also a large French institutional delegation.
