This is the first outside China, where the company operates three such facilities

Concern for the environment is an issue for all areas of industry nowadays, and Spain is attracting new investors to work on sustainability challenges. This is the case with Antaisolar, a Chinese supplier of photovoltaic mounting systems, which has announced that it will set up a global R&D centre in Madrid, the first outside China, where it operates three such facilities in Shanghai, Xiamen and Zhangzhou.

Located at the company's European sales and global support centre in the Spanish capital, the site will be staffed by R&D specialists and personnel with extensive management experience in the solar industry. This infrastructure is part of the company's technology innovation strategy, and staff there will work on projects like a core algorithm for tracking systems and a wind tunnel for testing.
