Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez welcomed a Korean delegation to the Moncloa Palace led by Chey Tae-won, Head of the South Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and President of the SK Group. Tae-won is the special envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea and co-chair of the World Expo Busan 2030 Bid Committee. The delegation also included Samsung Electronics President and CEO, Sun Simon, and the Korean Ambassador to Spain, Bahk Sahnghoon, as well as other key figures.

Various topics of common interest were discussed during the meeting, such as strengthening bilateral cooperation, possible Korean investments in Spain and the Busan 2030 bid.
