The investment in the automotive sector in Spain has increased by 14% and exceeds 78,000 million in turnover

The automotive sector continues to be an economic asset of the first order, with an increase in investment growing at a rate of 14%. 

Automobile manufacturers and companies and companies operating in Spain, associated in the Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers (ANFAC) have also achieved a turnover of 78,154 million euros in 2023, according to its Annual Report.

During 2023, a total of €2,395 million was invested, 14.7% more than the previous year, confirming Spain's special relevance as an industrial pole for the automotive as an industrial hub for the automotive industry and as one of the main investment sectors. The sector's own activity is a major economic player for Spain. In 2023, the sector's total contribution to the public accounts amounted to 39,514 million euros in car taxes, increasing its contribution to our country's economy by 0.2% compared to 2022.
