Cloudia Research is now fully operational at its new headquarters in Spain

Its first office outside Italy will be a hub for developing technologically advanced solutions.
The IT services and consultancy company Cloudia Research is now fully operational in Valencia. Six months after starting its international expansion in the Levantine capital by opening the Spanish subsidiary and launching its academy, the Italian company has inaugurated its headquarters, which will function as a hub for developing technologically advanced solutions.
The company, which specialises in ERP and artificial intelligence solutions, aims to conquer the Spanish market as a first step in its expansion policy, as announced in preparation for its IPO in December 2023. To this end, it is committed to local talent and to supporting innovation and creating new employment opportunities.
Vocational training and job creation
The Academy project, a professional training programme that was launched in Italy in 2021 and which the company has decided to replicate in Spain, will serve to incorporate junior profiles in the workforce. In collaboration with the University of Valencia, it will help to introduce students to the Information and Communications Technology consultancy industry for business digitalisation. The first five trainees have recently completed their training and are now employees of Cloudia Research Spain.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors at Cloudia Research, Marcantonio Angelo Merafina, is very satisfied with the subsidiary's performance in the first half of the year, adding: “Opening the new branch in Valencia, Spain, is an important step in our internationalisation strategy, reinforcing our presence in the European market”.
An innovative mindset
At the same time, the technology company announced the appointment of its Managing Director for Spain. The role has gone to Özgür Özdemircili, a 30-year veteran in the industry, whom the company's General Manager, Emanuele Bottelli, describes as “an exceptional leader”, whose extensive experience “is combined with his innovative mindset”.
Özdemircili will be joined by a consulting team that is highly skilled in the use of artificial intelligence and the cloud, with a mix of senior and junior profiles. Its mission will be to address the digitisation of its customers' business processes in Southern Europe. It will also be responsible for researching and developing new innovative solutions for digital transformation.
