Fastener manufacturer for industrial companies Rose Holm is to open a production plant in Spain for the wind turbine market. It will be its fourth factory, the third to open in just four years and the second outside Denmark after the factory in Virginia (USA).

The Nordic company is currently building the new production unit with the aim of gaining a share of the growing wind power market in Southern Europe. As VP Sales Michael Wasilewski explains, "The wind market in Southern Europe will grow in the coming years. By setting up a production plant in Spain, we strengthen our ability to provide world-class competitive anchors to our international partners”.

Fasteners
A facility in Spain for the automated production of anchor bolts for wind turbines will strengthen the company's relationship with existing and potential clients in the south of the continent. Enrique Iriarte, who already holds the position of General Manager in Spain, will be responsible for the start-up and operation of the new plant.

The company expects to strengthen both its market position and also its agility and capacity to respond to its clients' needs. It also shows a commitment to contributing to economic growth, job creation, the evolution of the wind energy industry and the promotion of sustainability in the region.

Supply security
Rose Holm is headquartered in Lynge, Denmark, where it has a production plant. In the last four years it has opened two plants in Rødekro (Denmark) and Virginia (USA), and has now begun construction of a fourth in Navarra. The two local plants supply the off-shore market in Northern Europe, while the Virginia plant serves the North American market. Production in Spain increases supply security in Southern Europe.

With this operation Iriarte is returning to the renewable energy sector, and states that it is "a privilege to have the opportunity to lead an industrial project in Navarra, my beloved local community, contributing to the creation of wealth, employment and sustainability".
