The facility is equipped with efficient systems and technologies to reduce its carbon footprint
The new headquarters of Toyota Material Handling España is now fully operational. Announced less than a year ago, the newly constructed building, located in Sabadell (Barcelona), has been designed to better respond to the needs of customers and employees, and with sustainability criteria designed to reduce the company's carbon footprint.
The new facilities cover an area of 16,500 square metres. In addition to housing the company's headquarters in Spain, it has an 11,000-square metre workshop, a 2,300-square metre spare parts area, a streaming training room and a 1,000-square metre demonstration space.
Logistics automation solutions
The company wants to use the new demonstration space to present its latest logistics automation solutions to customers. Its products, ranging from forklift trucks to driver-operated and driverless transport equipment, are available both new and second-hand, as well as for hire.
The subsidiary of the Japanese multinational, which specialises in material handling solutions, wanted to demonstrate its commitment to operational optimisation, technological innovation and environmental sustainability. The services offered at its new headquarters include after-sales service and lean projects, whose philosophy is to optimise processes to reduce investment, time and effort.
Close contact with customers
By setting up its new facilities, Toyota Material Handling España also wants to emphasise its commitment to continuous improvement, which drives the company to maintain close contact with its customers. In this way, it can offer them comprehensive solutions that maximise the performance of their equipment.
In terms of sustainability, the new headquarters is equipped with state-of-the-art waste management systems and efficient technologies to help reduce its carbon footprint. The building is for example equipped with solar panels and a LED lighting system.
