Wynie inaugurates Spanish headquarters set to be main international hub

It has invested 6 million euros, and will add a further 3 million euros in a year and a half
The cosmetics and accessories brand Wynie has inaugurated its new facilities in Getafe (Madrid), which include its headquarters, a logistics base and a showroom. The Swiss company has invested 5.8 million euros in its Spanish headquarters, an operation it describes as "a significant investment in our future and ongoing commitment to excellence".
The company plans to increase the investment to 9 million euros over the next eighteen months and turn its Spanish headquarters into its main hub for Europe and the world. Until now, Wynie was primarily present in multi-price channels. The aim of this office will be to boost the brand image, create new marketing channels and access new markets.
Plans to reach new markets
One of the first steps in this phase has been the appointment of a new business development manager. Alvaro Villamizar, who has extensive retail experience, will be responsible in this role for doubling the turnover of the business and "taking the Wynie brand to new heights". It is already present in Spain, Italy and Portugal and has plans to enter new markets such as Poland and, later, Latin America.
The company has a logistics area of 30,000 square metres to manage the planned growth, distributed between Getafe and Pinto.. Starting with sales of 30 million euros in 2023, in the short term it aims to reach 37.30 million euros in 2024, and then 55.97 million euros in 2026.
Beginning of a new phase
With its headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), the company has 180 of its 230 employees in Spain, which represents about 75% of the workforce. As its CFO, Domingo Ramos, explains, "The opening of this logistics centre and offices in the Madrid region is just the beginning of a new stage of expansion and success for Wynie".
The company's business model is based on three pillars –product knowledge, supply chain and technology development– that enable new launches to move from the design phase to shop shelves in as little as ninety days.
