The Spanish photovoltaic industry continues to experience growth and is positioned as a strategic sector in Spain for the energy transition.In 2023, the sector broke its own record for annual power installation: 7.54GW were deployed in Spain (5.7% more than in 2022).It is also a fundamental sector for the Spanish economy, as it accounts for 1.23% of GDP and employs 160,396 workers (direct, indirect and induced).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Spain not only has excellent climatic conditions for photovoltaic generation.It also offers investors excellent conditions for establishing industrial facilities for manufacturing the various components of this technology due to its large domestic market, its strategic position for exporting to European, Latin American and North African markets, the quantity and quality of its infrastructures and the availability of specialized industrial ecosystem and labor force.
