PDAC 2024 is one of the world's leading conventions dedicated to the mineral exploration industry. For four days, it brings together all the agents and companies related to this industry.

ICEX-Invest in Spain attends this forum, through the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Ottawa, which will attend the event in order to make contact with this important sector for attracting investment and to visit foreign companies that may be exploring alternatives to their current operations.

Within the framework of the fair, the Economic and Commercial Office, in collaboration with Invest in Spain and with the support of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Canada, will organise on 4 March the conference "Shaping the Future of Mining in Spain", aimed at investors and analysts of the sector, which will be inaugurated by the Spanish Ambassador.

The event has been held since 1932 and has grown in both size and influence to become the key event in the sector. The convention includes an exhibition area (more than 1,100 exhibitors) as well as technical sessions and networking sessions, 2,500 investors, for the nearly 26,000 attendees from 132 countries.
