During this major Category A international event, in the festival’s industry section, our sector experts will hold meetings with potential foreign investors to inform them about the opportunities Spain offers as a destination for international film shoots and for setting up their businesses in Spain.

On 20 September, the Executive Director of Invest in Spain, Ms Micaela Arias, will moderate the panel discussion ‘New models of business growth in the European audiovisual sector’, as part of the conference on the state of the audiovisual sector in Europe, ‘The new script for the audiovisual sector in Europe. Diversity, Investment and the Future of the Audiovisual Sector”, organised by the State Secretariat for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service.

Furthermore, ICEX is sponsoring the Creative Investors’ Conference, which will take place on 22 and 23 September, where financiers, producers, distributors and other key figures from the film industry will take part in discussions on the global audiovisual industry.
