BIOSPAIN is one of Europe's leading conferences, bringing together entities that are innovating in the fields of healthcare solutions, sustainable agri-food and climate change. This year's edition is expected to surpass the record figures achieved in 2023, with over 2,200 attendees, almost 1,000 companies from 34 countries, and over 5,000 one-to-one meetings.

The ICEX-Invest in Spain team will hold meetings with potential investors interested in the Spanish market to present the life sciences industry in Spain and the opportunities offered by the Spanish market. The team will also accompany a delegation of eight international funds participating in BIOSPAIN, helping them to explore investment opportunities in the Spanish Bio and Healthtech ecosystem. Within this framework, at BIOSPAIN, we will present our advisory and support services to foreign companies interested in developing their business in Spain through an investment project.

In addition, Alberto Sanz, Invest in Spain's Director of Financing, will moderate the round table discussion "America discovers Spain" on 8 October at 10:15 a.m. What drives US VC international investment?'
