Bootcamp MIDE Latam
On 17 September, the Director of Financing and Investor Relations, Alberto Sanz, will present "The Spanish Ecosystem, opportunities for investment by foreign startups" to the participating startups together with the MIA (Madrid Investment Attraction).
The event is organized by MIDE, a liaison entity incorporated into the RIS3 program of the Community of Madrid, which seeks to develop the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region, with a global vision. The program used is based on an MIT methodology that promotes the impact of an ecosystem through the joint work of the five key stakeholders: entrepreneurs, corporations, investors, academia, and Administration. With this premise, they develop connection actions between the ecosystem agents and with other ecosystems. They have already held two editions of the MIDE Latam Bootcamp and, this third time, startups from Chile, Peru and Mexico, as well as Spain, will participate.
For these Latam startups, the approach is to help them do business in Europe, for which it is recommended that they start from Spain as a natural connection door. 4 startups from each country participate (16 in total) and a maximum of 2 participants per startup.
Finally, on 21 September, there will be the pitches of the 6 selected startups, in an open session that can be accessed through this link .
