The German multinational Mahle opens a new R&D center in Spain

The new facilities of Valencia will serve as a competence center in automobile electronics where some 250 engineers will develop new solutions for sustainable mobility

Mahle, the German multinational specializing in systems and components oriented to sustainable mobility and electromobility, has inaugurated a new research and development center in Valencia.

The new facilities will serve as a competence center in automobile electronics, where some 250 engineers will develop new products and solutions for sustainable mobility.

Mahle is one of the leading actors worldwide in the development of the automotive industry, and in original fittings. It offers technologically innovative solutions for automobiles, commercial vehicles, machinery and other industrial applications.

Mahle has a workforce of over 660 employees, and develops and manufactures a wide variety of products for the automotive sector in Valencia and Motilla del Palancar (Cuenca). Its clients include numerous international automobile manufacturers.

Mahle, in close collaboration with the Valencia Polytechnic University, is involved in a program for young talents and postgraduate students, and offers attractive professional opportunities for young engineers.
Mahle has a major presence worldwide. The group has a workforce of around 78,000 employees and is present in over 30 countries with 170 production centers. Around 6,100 development engineers and technicians work in 16 major research and development centers distributed around Germany, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Spain, Slovenia, United States, Brazil, Japan, China and India, seeking innovative solutions for the mobility of the future.
