In collaboration with Iberseries, the delegation is made up of twelve producers from Germany and the Nordic countries

·  The roadshow will showcase the leading film studios and the diversity of landscapes and locations available in Spain.

·  It will be held within the framework of the third edition of the largest event in the Ibero-American audiovisual industry's calendar, to be celebrated in Madrid.

As part of the Iberseries event, ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones will be hosting a trade mission for foreign producers from 2 to 7 October to showcase the strengths of Spain's audiovisual ecosystem. The delegation comprises twelve producers from Germany and the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland).

Iberseries is Madrid’s largest Ibero-American audiovisual industry event, and 2023 will be the third consecutive year that it has been held with the support of Madrid City Council and the Regional Government of Madrid, with the activity being organised for ICEX on this occasion.

Spain, audiovisual hub of Europe
The aim of the roadshow is to present Spain as an audiovisual hub in Europe. The mission will spotlight the major film studios available, enable producers to establish relationships with companies that provide production services and showcase the diversity of landscapes and locations that Spain has to offer.

Furthermore, the producers will learn about the opportunities the Spanish audiovisual industry provides - attractive tax incentives, a pool of high quality technical and creative professionals, diversity of climate and geography, a rich cultural heritage, and an unbeatable infrastructure network.

The producers taking part will visit a number of different locations in Spain. There will also be a meeting at ICEX in Madrid, and an opportunity to visit the Peris Costumes & Digital costume supplier's facilities, and later a visit to the 'Ciudad de la Luz' studios in Alicante and the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya in Terrasa. The final visit will be to Gran Canaria Platós on the island of Gran Canaria.

PROFILM is collaborating with the mission to promote Spain's production service companies, the film studios who will be welcoming the producers to their facilities, and the film commissions/offices at the places visited, thereby promoting their respective areas as locations for filming.
